The missing piece was never another tool.

You're already using AI in bits and pieces. What was missing was a workflow, one repeatable path from messy source material to a built course. That's the course. No coding. You stay the designer.

THE ANCHOR SCENARIO

You won't be watching demos. You'll be building.

One scenario runs the whole course: a customer de-escalation course for Varney Communications, built from the kind of pile you actually get handed.

We walk it through the pipeline together, module by module — every prompt real, tested, and written the way you'd say it out loud.

BEFORE YOU ENROLL

Let's make sure this is your course.

This one assumes a baseline and gets straight to the craft. Nine modules is a real commitment, so it's worth knowing now whether it's aimed at you.

You already prompt well and want a system, not a tutorial.
You get handed messy sources and a deadline.
You build in Captivate, Storyline, or Rise.
You want the whole job, intake to publish.
You'd rather build than watch demos.

NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF
You need a first introduction to AI or prompting.
You want a tool tour, not a way of working.
You're hoping to hand the whole job to AI.
You need a course in an authoring tool itself.

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY WALK AWAY WITH

The de-escalation course was never the deliverable. The system was.

Five things leave with you when the last lesson ends. Less time in production, more time on the design decisions that make learning stick.

"Every prompt in this course is one I use in my own work, shown exactly as I run it, mistakes and course-corrections included."

I built this because I kept watching brilliant designers use AI in scattered bits, then go right back to the grunt work by hand. You deserve a system, not another tool tutorial.

STILL DECIDING

The honest answers.

Do I need to know how to code?+

No. One lesson uses Claude Design to vibecode a custom interaction, and it's built for people with no coding background. Everything else runs in tools you already know.

Is this an intro to AI?+

No. It assumes you know the basics of GenAI and prompting. We skip what a language model is and get straight to the craft of building learning with it.

Which AI tools do I need?+

A chat tool, an image tool, and a voice tool. Module 1 walks you through setting all three up, plus the guardrails that keep the output accurate and your data protected.

Which authoring tool does it assume?+

Yours. The assembly lesson maps your finished assets to a build plan in Captivate, Storyline, or Rise, with interactions, branching, and publish settings tailored to the tool you actually use.

Is the whole course available now?+

Not yet, and that's exactly why the early bird price exists. Most of the forty-seven lessons are live today. The ones still in production are marked coming soon in the curriculum, so you can see exactly what's ready before you enroll. New lessons go up every week until all nine modules are finished, and lifetime access means everything lands in your account as it publishes, at no extra cost.

What happens to the early bird price?+

It goes away once the course is complete. Right now it's 30 percent off, applied automatically at checkout with nothing to enter. Enrolling early means you pay less and get every remaining lesson as it lands.

Do I get the source files?+

All of them. The full Varney kit: Marcus's transcript, two more SME interviews, the policy, the emails, the Slack thread, the notes, the tips deck, a storyboard template, and a data masking example. You build alongside me instead of just watching.

Is this teaching me to replace myself?+

The opposite. The rule under every module is that AI drafts and you decide. The point isn't doing less work. It's spending your hours where your judgment actually matters.

How long will it take me?+

It's self-paced with lifetime access, so you can run it in a focused week or work a module at a time around real projects. Most people do the latter.

Can I get a refund?+

Yes. You have 14 days, as long as you have completed less than 20 percent of the course. Email hello@dlnook.com and we'll take care of it. Full details on the Refund Policy page.
