Privacy Policy

Effective date: 19 June 2026

The short version

We collect only what you choose to share with us through our forms, our booking tool, and our newsletter, plus basic analytics about how the site is used. We use it to respond to you and to improve the site. We do not sell your information. You can ask us what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted at any time by emailing privacy@dlnook.com. The full detail is below.

Who we are

Digital Learning Nook is a GenAI-first instructional design and eLearning consultancy. This site is operated by Digital Learning Nook. If you have any questions about this policy or about how we handle your information, you can reach us at privacy@dlnook.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and to understand how the site is being used.

Information you give us directly. When you fill out one of our forms, book a call, or sign up for our newsletter, you share information with us. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, company or organization, role or job title, and details about your project, event, timeline, or budget, along with anything else you choose to include in a message. We collect this only because you chose to send it to us, so that we can respond properly.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This may include your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived. This data is used in aggregate to improve the site and is not used to personally identify you.

Cookies and similar technologies. Our site and the tools we use may place small files on your device to make the site work properly and to measure traffic. You can control or refuse cookies through your browser settings, and through the cookie notice shown when you arrive. Refusing non-essential cookies will not stop you from using the site.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your inquiries, project questions, and speaking or workshop requests

  • schedule and confirm calls and meetings you book with us

  • send you our newsletter, if you have signed up for it

  • understand how the site is used so we can improve it

  • meet our legal and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

The tools we rely on

To run the site and our business, we use trusted third-party services that may process some of your information on our behalf. These include our website platform (Squarespace), our website analytics, our scheduling tool (Calendly, used when you book a call with us), our email and newsletter systems, and Google services (including Google Sheets, where form and inquiry details may be stored, and Google Workspace email). When you book a call through Calendly, your information is also handled under Calendly's own terms and privacy notice, shown on its booking page. Each of these providers maintains its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us, or as long as required to meet legal and accounting obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • ask us what personal information we hold about you

  • ask us to correct or update it

  • ask us to delete it

  • unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU and UK GDPR or the California privacy laws. We honor these requests regardless of where you are based. To make any request, email us at privacy@dlnook.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for working professionals and is not directed at children. We do not ask for anyone's age, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at privacy@dlnook.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or practices change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be noted clearly.
